About Climate for Tomorrow
Meteorologist/Climate Specialist Jim Lax is the founder of Climate for Tomorrow. He has over 40 years of experience in applied meteorology and environmental science, primarily from working for the state of Michigan, where he was involved in environmental policy development. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay  and Madison, as well as Ohio State University. He has experience in the polar regions, having worked at South Pole Station, Antarctica. He utilizes his knowledge of global climate systems in the evaluation of climatic impacts and the preparation of climate information for the public.  













Climate for Tomorrow  specializes in climate research, monitoring, and information for the Midwest market, as well as engaging in collaborative efforts with local governments and organizations to advance strategies to deal with climate change.
