About Climate for Tomorrow
Meteorologist/Climate Specialist Jim Lax is the founder of Climate for Tomorrow. He has over 40 years of experience in applied meteorology and environmental science. He was educated at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Madison, as well as Ohio State University. He has experience in the polar regions and utilizes this knowledge in the preparation of climate information and climate forecasts.
Climate for Tomorrow conducts climate research and provides climate information, monitoring, and long range climate forecasting to the central Midwest market. We provide specific numerical forecasts of average monthly temperature and total precipitation for various locations in the Midwest, including Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, South Bend, Grand Rapids, Lansing, and Detroit. We strive for accuracy by specializing in forecasts for a limited area. Climate for Tomorrow is one of the few forecasting services to incorporate climate change variables in its forecasts.
